Red&Gold Football and South Korea’s Jeju SK FC Announce Partnership

LAFC2 announced today that the club has acquired forward Seung-jae Yoo on loan from R&G partner club Jeju SK FC through June 2027.
A native of Suwon, South Korea, Yoo joined Jeju SK in January of this year and made his K-League debut on August 25, playing 12 minutes as a substitute against the Pohang Steelers. The young attacker recently competed for the Red&Gold Global Trophy. The international elite youth tournament, which is Red&Gold Football’s flagship event and most important scouting platform, took place at the FC Bayern Campus in Munich, Germany, this past August.
Jeju SK joined Red&Gold Football in September 2025 with the goal of providing talented players in South Korea a pathway to top European leagues and Major League Soccer (MLS). Yoo is the first player from Jeju to join LAFC’s player pathway as part of the cooperation. FC Bayern recently signed Jeju prospect Jae-Won Heo on loan as well.
